About Us

Dive with the Dream Team fills your life!

When Ocean Dreamers was first registered in 1999, we never expected the continued growth and loyal support of our diver family, many of whom have been with us since we originally started.

 

Based in Elarduspark, Pretoria, we pride ourselves on the high standard of hassle-free diving we provide to all our customers, while safety is of the utmost importance and no compromises are made as far as diving safety is concerned.

 

Although Ocean Dreamers is affiliated with NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) and the only NAUI ProEducator Facility in South Africa, NAUI Instructor #22707, Michael Jacobs is also a PADI Master Scuba Diver and Emergency First Response Instructor #644827 and DAN (Divers Alert Network) Instructor #DANM 262662. 

 

Sonja is the very capable land based assistant that looks after all the logistics as well as the wellbeing of all our customers.

 

When going on diving excursions, we include not only divers, but also their families into the fun filled atmosphere. To this end we go on snorkel excursions, 4x4 driving excursions and we strive to visit strange, new and exotic destinations close to the dive site to experience more than just the diving.

 

Combining NAUI’s motto “Dive Safety Through Education” and PADI’s motto “The Way the World Learns to Dive”,  we limit our students number to the absolute minimum to ensure personal attention and maximise safety and student enjoyment. This brings us to our own motto: “Dive with the Dream Team.”

 

At Ocean Dreamers, we offer programs to fit even the most hectic schedules.  We have drawn over years of experience to develop SCUBA programs that are tailored to even the most demanding lifestyles. Therefore classes are only available over weekends.
